Notice of application for Lease Variation over part of Recreation Reserve – Hakanoa Domain
Pursuant to Section 54 of the Reserves Act 1977, Waikato District Council as administering body gives notice of an application for a lease variation from Raahui Pookeka Community Centres Trust to add a disused shed, and disused changing rooms, to their lease area at Hakanoa Domain.
Raahui Pookeka Community Centres Trust will utilise the disued shed and the unused changing rooms for arts related purposes for their Arts Centre operating at the former Scout building on the Hakanoa Domain.
The recreation reserve is legally described as Part Allot 50 Taupiri Parish, and the additional lease area is more specifically defined on the plan below.
Pursuant to Section 119 of the Reserves Act 1977 Council has an obligation to publicly notify its intention to grant such leases by way of this Notice.
